Let's Get Started

I've started researching ideas and techniques for this new project called "capture". I'm very grateful that funding from the Arts Council allows me to take the time to R&D this subject properly. A lot of thoughts and documentation are starting to pile up, I'm not sure it will be of interest for anyone else than me, but I feel like sharing them as part of the process. And as it is all about researching and developing I would welcome any comment... well constructive ones obviously. So let's get started!

I've been spending a couple of days in Stephen Mottram's studio, bouncing ideas and working on automatas. My head was full of pulley wheels, cogs and others... As soon as I came back I've invested into a solder iron (+stand + soldering wire + de-soldering pump: a very good deal!). Thought a little video would be more appropriate...

Today I'm off for my first day of residency at Central School of Speech and Drama, filling my bag with more electronic goodies, tiny cameras provided by Garry Perkins, and hopefully have a little play with that. Scary and exciting.

Oh... and one last thing, if you fancy playing with me, make yourself known!

  2. magnifique début
ta première vidéo pourrait s'intituler "un petit poisson un petit oiseau s'aimaient d'amour tendre"
la vidéo de Stephen Mottram est scary indeed and very beautiful - parfaitement dans la logique de ton travail précédent
